“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”
Hebrews 10:24-25
We consider ourselves one big family at The Way, called to come alongside each other in love, throughout all seasons of life. We champion and challenge one another as we build authentic, growing relationships with Jesus and each other. Community groups are a great place for this growth and discipleship to take place.
You might be thinking, “I’m invested in this church, and regularly attend Sunday morning services. Why do I need to join a community group as well?” While Sunday mornings are essential to who we are and what we do as a church, there’s much more to experience together with our family.
Our desire is to equip you with a church community you can call when you have exciting news to share, when your world falls apart, or when you are wrestling with some tough questions about God. We want to come alongside each other and tackle these things together. Community groups are meant to be a safe place, offering accountability, prayer, encouragement and wisdom. Just like any healthy relationship, our desire is that these groups would be a mixture of fun and celebrations, but also a place where hard conversations take place, which we believe are necessary for growth. This may sound like a really big emotional, spiritual, and time commitment, but we assure you it’s one worth making.
Community groups typically meet weekly, or a few times a month.
Let’s devote ourselves to the Word, prayer, and fellowship. Let’s pursue Jesus together.
Life truly is better together. Won’t you join us?
